Hey everyone, it has been exactly a month since I posted an update so I figured I better let you all know I'm still here! Haha.
Things have been slow, and we can use all the help we can get! Please message me if you want to be part of the staff. There is only one requirement - that you stay active on the site. Tell me everything you know about proboard sites and your experience and I will give you a position.
Anyone willing to help with advertising, please message me. Points will be rewarded for linking back to other sites!
I think that's it. Thanks everyone!

Season: Winter
Winter in EP can be very unprdictable. One minute, the weather is quite mild, and the next minute you are caught in a huge snowstorm. You have to be very careful in the winter if you want to survive. Food is scarce, but you can find water almost anywhere - as long as the ice isn't too hard.

Sister Sites + Listings
We need sister sites! Please post in the affiliation board and ask to become one. Only requirements are that you have at least 5 active members and your site is about animals. Thanks!
Have a question or suggestion about the site? Be sure to post it here. There will also be an FAQ inside. Staff will also post polls for suggestions on the bulletin board.
Old posts and dead threads will be moved here by staff and later deleted. If you want to bring something out/put something in the archives, please message a staff member.
If you are going to be away, you must post here in one of the sub boards so that you will not receive any challenges while you are gone and end up being forced to forfeit. You only need to post if you are going to be away for more than 3-5 days.
Peaceful Waters is a large field of tall grasses, surrounded by a forest and a large cliff. It gets its name from the waterfall on the cliff, creating a beautiful pond below. Equines of every alliance may come here to meet.
If you head far enough through the forestry to the other end of the island, you will come to a small beach. The tides are always high here, and there is only a bit of sand here and there; the rest of the beach is covered with rocks. There are large boulders around as well, and offer great privacy or protection from storms. Usually, loved ones come here together to share time together, or young mares and stallions come searching for a mate.
In a small clearing in a jungle, you will find the hot springs. The water is warm and relaxing, and quite enjoyable in winter. The ground is hard and mossy, but grass borders the egdes of the spring. Mares come here with their foals to relax and converse among the other mothers and occasional fathers.
Crimson Plateau can only be found by swimming in a murky swamp in the mountains. If you manage to make it through the murky swamp without becoming prey to a predator lurking around or drowning, there are still more threats ahead when you come to the plateau. It gets its name from the red rock under your hooves and the bloodstains that seem to be everywhere, from both predators and other equines. Many fights go on around here, for it is the place where only dark equines are welcome. Any others, especially lights, risk being attacked.
If you walk through one of the many forests on the island, you will eventually come to a small clearing known as the The Woodlands. The ground is moist and mossy beneath your hooves, and the trees grow tall and protect the forest floor. The Woodlands receive lots of rain, so it is always a bit cold and wet. Here is where the Neutral alliance can get to know each other, and sometimes host meetings.
This small valley lies sheltered between two large hills, one of which gently slopes upward into mountains. The grass is lush, and a small waterfall that runs into a river serves as a great water source. Fireflies are frequenters here, and at night the valley glows with their light. Here is where Lights may meet and converse amongst each other. Darks who enter here risk being attacked.
Here is where you may fight for equines or land. The terrain is flat and hard, covered by a light dusting of dirt. Rotting carcasses are scattered here and there, along with skulls and bones. The rotting horse flesh attracts lots of insects. The stench is horrible, a mixture of blood, sweat, and rotting meat in the boiling sun. Only darks could not mind such a smell.
Banana Jungle is a large clearing in the middle of a huge jungle of mostly banana trees. The grass is always green and vibrant, and the temperatures are always warm, sometimes too warm in the summer. A small river runs through it, and the water is always sparkling.
Crystal Lagoon is a mystical place with immensely crystal-clear water. It's a wondrous place to go swimming and plunge deep beneath the waters surface and find the terra's wonders. Vegetation grows from the water, and although some might find it hard to get used to, the water grasses are quite delicious and healthy.
A great forest extends across this terrain. It is composed mainly of pine trees, and is cut in half by a large clearing. A river runs through the clearing, and it is a great place to have a family.
The warm plateau is a nice place. It gets its name from the thick carpet of moss that covers most of it's surface. A small river that dries up sometimes in the summer runs through the middle, and is the only water source. There are a few trees here and there, and grass seems to grow in large, irregular patches where the dry moss isn't as thick. It's a beautiful place, but you have to be tough to live comfortably.
Hidden in the middle of a forest is a cave tunnel, hidden my leafy plants and overgrown vegitation. Mysteriously, it only seems to be found when one is not looking for it; and even then, walking into it is very rare. After a while in the dark tunnel only wide enough for one equine at a time, it is easy to be spooked and run back. But if you are brave and make your way through the cave, you will come to a beautiful thriving valley with a beautiful stream, created by a sparkling waterfall. The grass and fruit trees are abundant, and the weather is always decent.
Here the canyon walls are extremely smooth and soft. It's not your typical sharp, fearful canyon. The floors are covered in thin soft sand and the shade is atlas twenty degrees cooler then the scorching heat. The neutrals who live here know it inside and out, but wanderers may have found the perfect place to get lost...
Golden Pond is basically a large field. During the autumn, the long grass turns a beautiful golden color. A large pond happens to be the main attraction of the terra, providing a sparkling fresh water source. Though the grass may not taste the best, it is so long that the dead spades are still there during the winter. Trees border this whole terra, making it quiet and closed in. It doesn't rain much, but often enough to keep the water level of the pond up.
Once you reach the end of the forest, miles of white sand greet your way onto the ocean. The tides are strong in most parts, and only for experienced equines to dare wade in. Many make the mistake of trying to drink from the salty water, only to find its taste to be utterly unpleasant. At both ends of the beach are soaring cliffs, some of which contain caves - but one would have to have wings to reach them. On the far left end, before you reach the cliffs there, the sand turns to pebbles, and large boulders reach out into the water. On the far right, the forest breaks immediately to the ocean, with no sandy shores in between. Sea birds are pretty much the only other animals found here, other than the occasional shark. As always though, despite its downsides, the ocean can appear particularly beautiful at sunrise and sunset.
High at the top of the mountain ridges lays the Crystal Peaks. The weather here is always quite chilly, never going over 10 degrees in even the hottest of summers. Winters are quite harsh, but among the mountain ridges there are small forests. There isn't much, but there is enough vegetation here to live off of. There are lots of small rivers and ponds, so becoming dehyrated isn't a problem. Of the dark territories, this is definitley one of the easier ones to survive in.
The flat terrain is vast and dry. Sand is constantly blowing around, and it is very hot at day and cold at night. Finding water is troublesome, but if you travel to the edge of the lands you will discover a small grove, where a small pond lays. Overall, it is very hard for an equine to live here.
The Crevice is surrounded with any sized rocks and boulders with extremely sharp edges. It is remains of a long ago volcano that spat out knife edge rocks. this terra is much too dangerous for the clumsy. Although it's quite dry, it has spring in the very heart of the terra to quench a thirsty equine.
Dense, weary, and dark... Demon's Woods holds the fog early in the morning all through out the evening. Large evergreens that no longer posses many needles make up most of the forestry. Very little vegetation such as grass does not grow here in plenty. It's a great place to stay dry from the down pours, the trees being thick together. In the heated seasons, it also serves as a great place to stay cool on the shade. There is a small river running in the middle of the forest. Many trees have fallen, and there is almost no life throughout the terra other than the equines living in it.
Azrael Isle is an island a few metres off of Equine Paradise. It is usually hidden by a thin layer of fog, and is easily mistook for a rock or something else of little importance. But anyone curious enough to explore with discover a beautiful place. It is sort of small, but big enough for a small herd. The grass grows abundantly, and a small stream that stretches straight across the small paradise is the only fresh water source. The days are long and the nights are beautiful, the sunsets truly breathtaking. The light king and/or queen live here, along with their small herd of servants, heirs, or simply some in need of a home.
Mein Himmel means My Heaven. This is one of the most wondrous and heavenly places you can set your eyes upon. There is a large mass of a lake, with the clearest of water. A large, dense forest surrounds the large river with year long vegetation. There are extremely large boulders scattered amoung the realm and many large other mammals such as Elk, Deer, and smaller animals recognize the neutral royal terra as their home. It's a glorious place for the neutral royal to live a long, happy life. The weather is relatively moderate besides the winter. Winter is a harsh period of time with much snowfall and in the dead of the winter the massive lake is frozen all the way through.
This canyon is the farthest territory in the area and overlooks all the rest of Equine Paradise. There is a large ledge that is pretty high above the bottom of the canyon, but it is still possible to get up on to. The ledge serves as the dark ruler's "throne". The floor of the canyon is mostly sand and rock with a few hard bushes scattered around that serve as the vegetation. There are many ponds that form when it rains, which isn't that often, but the water usually lasts until the next rainfall. There are many caves throughout the canyon, and if you follow the right ones, they will take you up to the royal's perch. The young ones love hiding in these caves and attacking their friends. Everyone who lives here are trained killers, so strangers should be warned when tresspassing. After all, the darks don't let in just anyone.
